⚠️ Data Backup (Important Warning)

For your privacy, all records are stored locally in your browser (Local Storage) and are never uploaded to any server. If you clear your browser cache, reinstall your OS, or switch browsers, your data will be permanently lost! Solution: We highly recommend regularly using the "Export" feature at the top of the page to download your data as a JSON file. If you switch devices, simply use "Import" to seamlessly restore your records.

Gift Exchange Tracker

A practical app to help you track gifts and monetary exchanges. Whether tracking cultural red envelopes or birthday gifts, it easily records and automatically calculates your net balances.

Features & How to Use

1. Record Tracking

• In the "Records" tab, click [Add Record] to log every gift or monetary value you receive or give.
• You can track physical gifts as well. Whether a physical item adds to your overall financial balance depends on if its category is marked as "Monetary" in your custom settings.

2. Categories & Customization

• We provide preset common categories (e.g., Cash, Gift Cards, Toys).
• Add Custom Categories: Click [Custom Categories] to create your own. When creating one, you can check Is Monetary (💰). Non-monetary categories won't alter your net financial balance statistic but are kept for sentimental tracking.

3. Smart Statistics

• Switch to the "Statistics" tab to view your cumulative [Total Received], [Total Given], and overall [Net Balance].
• The "Per Person" list automatically aggregates all exchanges you've had with specific individuals, effortlessly calculating the exact difference/net balance.

4. Personal Timeline

• Clicking on any contact's name will open their personal Timeline in the statistics view.
• The timeline offers a chronological view of all your exchanges with this specific person, making it perfectly easy to reference past gifts before returning a favor!
