A sincere apology letter from a solo developer about the integration of ads. As traffic and server costs increase, we've carefully placed ads in the margins to keep the site running for free. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Hello everyone, I'm Daniel Lu, the developer of this site.

Some observant friends may have noticed that a few ads have recently appeared in the corners of the website. I sincerely apologize to you all for this compromise, which might affect your reading and user experience.

As a solo developer running this as a passion project in my spare time, the running costs for servers and bandwidth have gradually exceeded what I can personally afford, especially with the increase in website traffic and the API calls to various underlying models. To keep this site alive for the long haul and continue providing you with pure front-end online tools and technical articles for free, I reluctantly made the decision to integrate ads.

Here, I want to make a promise to you:

  1. Absolute Restraint: Ads will only be placed at the edges of the page or at the bottom of articles. There will absolutely never be any pop-ups blocking the main text, nor will they ever interfere with the interaction and usage of any core tools.
  2. Staying True to the Original Intention: All core features, online tools, and high-quality content on the website will remain free and open.

Thank you all for your continuous tolerance and support. It is your every visit and piece of feedback that gives these lines of code warmth and meaning. If the ads genuinely bother you, I completely understand if you choose to turn on an AdBlocker.

In the days to come, I will continue to work hard to create more useful tools and content.

Best wishes!
