About Keyboard Tester
What can the keyboard tester tool do?
This tool can detect if your keyboard keys are working properly, test how many keys your keyboard can recognize simultaneously, and help you discover keyboard problems.
When do you need to test your keyboard?
- Keys not working: You press a key and there's no response, or the response is slow
- Key conflicts in games: You find that certain key combinations cannot be used simultaneously while gaming
- Keyboard broken: You suspect the keyboard has a fault and need to check if it's a software or hardware issue
- Buying a keyboard: You want to know how many keys the keyboard can press simultaneously
Common keyboard problems
- Keys not working: A key doesn't respond when pressed
- Repeat issues: You press a key once but multiple characters appear
- Key conflicts: When pressing certain keys simultaneously, some are not recognized
How to use this tool?

- Try holding multiple keys simultaneously to see how many it can recognize at maximum

Reference values by keyboard type
- Mechanical Keyboard: Usually can recognize more than 6 keys simultaneously
- Regular Office Keyboard: Usually can recognize 2-6 keys simultaneously
- Laptop Keyboard: Usually can recognize 3-6 keys simultaneously
- Bluetooth Keyboard: Limited by technical restrictions, usually maximum 6 keys
